NOTICE
These Terms and Conditions apply to users who are consumers for purposes of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).
If there is any provision in these Terms and Conditions that you do not understand, it is your responsibility to inform Basson Workwear so we can explain it to you before you agree to it.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to unlawfully restrict, limit, or avoid any right or obligation created for either you or Basson Workwear under the CPA.
Basson Workwear permits the use of this online shop subject to the Terms and Conditions. By using this Website in any way, you are deemed to have accepted all the Terms and Conditions unconditionally.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL TERMS
1.1All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Quotations are valid for 7 calendar days from date of issue.
1.3 All orders requiring branding, embroidery, printing, or alterations must be paid in full upon placement of the order.
1.4 Any discrepancies (incorrect item, incorrect quantity, or damaged goods) must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of the order.
1.5 Products carry a limited manufacturing guarantee.
1.6 All overall suits are supplied based on jacket measurements (e.g., chest size).
1.7 Delivery dates are estimates only – Basson Workwear cannot be held liable for costs incurred due to late delivery.
1.8 Basson Workwear reserves the right to amend prices without prior notice due to supplier increases or currency fluctuations.
2. EXCHANGES & RETURNS
2.1 All exchange requests must be submitted within 5 working days of delivery.
2.2 A handling fee of up to 25% may apply for late or non-compliant exchanges.
2.3 Returned goods must be in immaculate condition, unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging.
2.4 Non-returnable items include, but are not limited to:
·        Special orders or custom-manufactured items
·        Branded, embroidered, or printed goods
·        Rainwear, PPE, consumables, and promotional items
2.5 No exchanges or returns will be accepted once the number of business days specified in clause 2.6 has passed.
2.6 For stock vs non-stock returns:
·        Stock items ([Stock Item]):
·        Within 10 business days: No handling fee
·        10–21 business days: 10% handling fee
·        After 21 business days: Not eligible for credit
·        Non-stock (if returnable):
·        Within 7 business days: No handling fee
·        7–12 business days: 15% handling fee
·        After 12 business days: Not eligible for credit

3. DELIVERY & COLLECTION
3.1 Delivery fees are calculated as follows:
·        Within 100km radius: R50 excl. VAT for orders under R3,000 | Free over R3,000
·        100–200km radius: R350 excl. VAT for orders under R10,000 | R250 excl. VAT for orders over R10,000
·        Over 200km: R2/km excl. VAT
3.2 Partial order deliveries will be made only once 75% of the order is ready, unless otherwise agreed.
3.3 Returns via Basson Workwear drivers must be pre-arranged – no goods will be collected without a valid invoice and prior approval.
3.4 All credits will be processed after goods are received, inspected, and approved.
4. COD PAYMENT TERMS
4.1 All written communication regarding payments is regarded as a binding agreement.
4.2 All COD orders must be paid in full upon receipt of invoice.
4.3 Delivery will only commence once payment reflects.
4.4 Payment methods: EFT for offsite clients, debit/credit card facilities on Basson Workwear premises.
5. ACCOUNT PAYMENT TERMS
5.1 All written communication regarding payments is regarded as a binding agreement.
5.2 When the credit limit is reached, the balance exceeding the limit must be settled before additional orders can be processed.
5.3 Overdue accounts may incur 2.5% interest per month on the outstanding balance (including accrued interest and admin fees).
5.4 30 days past terms: A final notice letter may be issued.
5.5 40 days past terms: Legal proceedings may be initiated.
5.6 An admin/recovery fee of R350 excl. VAT may be charged per transaction.
